It all dates back to the summer of 2002, where a very disheartened Kenny Florence, Adam Baker, and Mike Robinson decided it was time to stop playing bad music. Enlisting the help of a long-needed fourth band member in Zack Oden, the plight of Sunfold (formerly Sedona) began. Through years of ups, downs, and side steps Sunfold has been a surviving name in the North Carolinian musical landscape. Bumping around through genres and surviving the ever-changing trends of the scene, Sunfold may be remembered as many different things to many different people. While one old fan may remember the Radiohead-in-bed-with-the-Smashing Pumpkins high school rock era, another will recall the more recent folk influenced foot stomping years. But all fans old, new, and unclaimed will fall for the new sound of the original old/young band headed up by Kenny Florence.
